Trijntje Cornelisdochter Keever, known as the "Giant Maiden of Edam," was a Dutch woman famous for her exceptional height. She was born in Edam, Netherlands, on April 10, 1616, and lived until July 2, 1633. She is considered the tallest woman in recorded history, as it is estimated that she reached a height of 2.54 meters (8 feet 4 inches).
